Where Sustainability Meets Island Wisdom
The Beach Bar is Waikiki Beach’s luminous pulse, a reality that stands among the standout bars in Waikiki, Hawaii. It’s all about its flavorful offerings, from tropical beverages to shareable small plates, and gracious service that attract both locals and explorers.
The venue’s fame comes from a mix of factors: a strategic location, a signature menu, and a breathtaking view that have helped shape an earth-friendly vision. In 2017, the Moana Surfrider became LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified at 116 years young.
Our team has a deep respect for the environment, which has led to significant investments to improve energy efficiency, from sustainable heat pumps to cooling towers and chillers.
This ethical approach has been adopted in synergy with The Sheraton Princess Kaiulani, The Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Resort and Sheraton Waikiki, helping the complex increase its farm-to-table sourcing from about 13 percent in 2007 to more than 60 percent today.
